Setting: The story is set in London during the period when Margaret Thatcher was Prime Minister of Britain.
Plot summery: Much of the Pakistani Hussein family has settled in London, striving for the riches promised by Thatcherism. Nasser and his right hand man, Salim, have a number of small businesses and they do whatever they need to make money, even if the activities are illegal. As such, Nasser and his immediate family live more than a comfortable lifestyle, and he flaunts his riches whenever he can. Meanwhile, his brother, alcoholic Ali, once a famous journalist in Pakistan, lives in a seedy flat with his son, Omar. Ali's life in London is not as lucrative in part because of his left leaning politics, which does not mesh with the ideals of Thatcherism. To help his brother, Nasser gives Omar a job doing menial labor. Yet, Omar, with bigger plans, talks Nasser into letting him manage Nasser's run down launderette. Omar seizes what he sees as an opportunity to make the launderette a success, and employs an old friend, Johnny - who has been most recently running around with a gang of white punks - to help him. Johnny and Omar have a special relationship, but one that has gone through its ups and downs, the downs fostered by anti-immigration sentiments of white England. Omar and Johnny each have to evaluate if their ideals of success are worth it at all cost.

Evaluation 1
The name of our movie was always going to be short, snappy and engaging. We wanted it to be movie which slips off the tongue. We obviously had several stumbling blocks.. Including writers block and also opposing ideas. At first it was tough to come up with a name we all agreed on. “Breaking point” we did like it, and we thought it went with our piece. The thing was as we started digging deeper into the future storyline of the movie we decided that it wasn’t connecting as well as we wanted the name to. In the end we came up with the name “Creep” I think it’s a great film title and bound to be a film name people remember and would feel comfortable talking to their friends about.
Heres a screen grab of our title

Production logo
This is our logo for our movie designed by Nat, its a slick and simple design, it makes us look more proffesional and like we are so good we dont need a big moving fancy logo.
music
Our piece was sopposed to be dark, surprising and finaly surprising. The music choice had to incoporate all of this and i think thats why it was so difficult to find an apporpriate piece to go with our film. We tried so many songs and jingles and we thought we had found the perfect choice when me and the group found Mr Holmes, a talented teacher and musician and a lovely guy. He wrote us a peice with our professional advice and it was all great. That was until we decided to re shoot the whole piece. The style of our film changed and there fore the music didnt fit.we got permission for the XX a great modern contempary music bands. we filled out paper work after paper work and we finally got approved. Then i thought its not the same i wanted to get the group to create something new and original becuase i wanted the music to represent and compliment our piece of film. In the end the amazing natalie Coombes wrote a bit of music that goes very well with our movie and im very happy with the finshed product!

Media blog
The diary…
The days seem to slow, the hours drag on and feel like days. The sad thing is, its day one. My group are great, hard working and confident. Max is trying his very best not to annoy us to the extent where we gouge his eyes out with the tripod, and let me tell you… ive come close. We are experimenting with a variety of diffirent angles, for example when Natalie is sitting on the swing. We used an over the shoulder shot to express to the audience the “creeps” point of view.
As we experiment more and more, we are finding it tricky to make our ideas come true.
Day 3- at this point in our directing were finaly starting to get somewhere… we have had a rough few days and now we have a solid idea that were trying to get a cross to our audiences. The action shots we were using to film the running scenes were increasingly difficult as the day progressed. Once we had wrapped for the day we went straight to the editing room to use I movie a sophisticated movie maker by mac. During the day we had three main scenes to film the chase, the lead up to the chase and finally the tripping up. Once all was done the holidays couldn’t come quicker and the group departed for a weeks rest.
Day 4 ( holidays)
We have all decided to meet up to better our original project, take 1 was cut and we started from scratch. It was actually a great thing to do because now we have a long stretch of time to try and make it as good as possible. The first scene took place on a public footpath, in Burbage where the mist had fallen perfectly to create some mise en scene. Our first shot was a long shot watching max walk towards Natalie. We then got a close up on nats reaction. This is to create atmosphere for our viewer. We spent 7 hours re writing , re filming and re editing today and trust me. Its worth it. Its starting to come together and we are really happy with the nearing end.
Day 5 last day of shooting! We couldn’t wait the climax of shooting ! We had used almost all the neccasary shots. We had used over the shoulder to get point of view, we had use long shot to get perspective but the show I loved and wanted to include more were close ups, I love the reaction on the actors faces and it adds such deph to the scene. Luckily the conditons we filmed in where dark and eery adding to the atmosphere. We didn’t want to show the face of Max because we felt the mystery would entice the audience into watching it and becoming en ravvled in the story.
