Our piece was sopposed to be dark, surprising and finaly surprising. The music choice had to incoporate all of this and i think thats why it was so difficult to find an apporpriate piece to go with our film. We tried so many songs and jingles and we thought we had found the perfect choice when me and the group found Mr Holmes, a talented teacher and musician and a lovely guy. He wrote us a peice with our professional advice and it was all great. That was until we decided to re shoot the whole piece. The style of our film changed and there fore the music didnt fit.we got permission for the XX a great modern contempary music bands. we filled out paper work after paper work and we finally got approved. Then i thought its not the same i wanted to get the group to create something new and original becuase i wanted the music to represent and compliment our piece of film. In the end the amazing natalie Coombes wrote a bit of music that goes very well with our movie and im very happy with the finshed product!
